Island break
1 month
A long weekend or a summer holiday on Mallorca.
Mallorca · Palma · Members only
Island time starts when the paperwork stops.
Palma has a Gothic cathedral on the waterfront, a lively old town and beaches minutes from the centre, but no coffee shops. On Mallorca, as everywhere in Spain, cannabis is shared through private social clubs that admit approved members only.
Palma Cannabis Club handles the application. Apply online before you travel, get approved, and arrive in Palma with your member access code already sent.
First things first
If you are wondering about weed in Palma, or hoping to find a weed cafe in Palma, here is the honest answer: there are none. Spain has no coffee shops and no legal street sale, on the islands or on the mainland.
Palma’s cannabis social clubs are private associations that operate under the Spanish legal framework. Keep these points in mind.
This website explains how membership works. It does not sell cannabis, and admission to any participating club is always subject to that club’s own policies and to Spanish law.
An approved membership is required before your first visit to any participating club.
Your passport or government-issued ID is checked on every visit. Photos on your phone are not accepted.
Using cannabis on the beach, the promenade or in the street is prohibited and can be fined.
Never take cannabis through Palma airport, onto a ferry or across a border. It is against the law.
Each club sets its own opening hours, capacity and house rules.
Around the bay
Your membership covers participating clubs in the old town and along the Bay of Palma, from Santa Catalina in the west to El Arenal in the east.
01 · MARKET QUARTER
Palma’s food-lovers’ barrio around its covered market, just west of the old town.
02 · MAIN HUB
The old town between La Seu cathedral, the Borne and Plaza Mayor.
03 · SEAFRONT VILLAGES
Former fishing villages east of the centre, linked by the seafront promenade.
04 · NEAR THE AIRPORT
The western end of Playa de Palma, a few minutes from the airport.
05 · BEACH RESORT
The eastern end of the long sandy beach of Playa de Palma.
Palma airport (PMI) is about 15 minutes from the old town by taxi or bus.
Clubs differ in hours, facilities and space, and your confirmation spells out the details.
